As you probably know I am one of the judges in this year’s
ELLE Rising Star Designer Awards. We’ve gone through some very exciting
storyboards over the past couple of months and settled on several designers we
believe have the necessary talent and business savvy to become successful
designers. This Thursday we are crowning the winning designer and you could be
at the event to witness it all. All you have to do is comment on who you think

All you need to tell me is why you think your pick is best.
Competition closes at midday tomorrow (11 September 2012). If you enter, you
must be able to attend the event at 6pm on Thursday (13 September) at the Shine
Studios in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

i love love love Sindiso Khumalo's interview on the Elle site! her obsession with prints is something i can totally live with. plus she cites some names that i deeply admire: Comme des Garcons, Chalayan and Yukimi Nagano. She's a winner in my eyes! i hope she bags the award on Thursday.
